D. Scott Rogo was a classically trained musician with a degree in Music, but he was first and foremost the greatest paranormal writer and investigator of the 20th Century.  Scott died tragically at the age of 40. I am proud to be able to call Scott my friend, but I was not alone; he ran in a rarified circle, Bill Roll, Jerry Clark, Ray Bayless, Loren Coleman and Blue Harary to mention a few. In his short life he crisscrossed the landscape of the unknown, researching and writing about everything from ghosts, Out of Body experiments, spirit communications to UFOs and cryptids. I am the first to admit that we did not always agree on many of these subjects, but I always found him to be cordial, professional and caring; he was always willing to listen to the other side of the debate and can be credited with introducing many of us to phenomenon we did not even know about.

I can make no greater suggestion to both new investigators and old timers to seek out Scott’s works. Using these source materials will help anyone to come up to speed on the field, rather than waste their time reinventing the paranormal wheel.
