The Association for the Study of Unexplained Phenomenon Post Office Box 262, Wills Point TX 75169 Dear Prospective Member: SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. WE ONLY ACCEPT PEOPLE WITHIN A 100 MILE RADIUS OF OUR HEADQUARTERS. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO LEARN HOW TO BE A TRUE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR, COME TO AT LEAST TWO MEETINGS AND FOUR INVESTIGATIONS OR OTHER EVENTS PER YEAR, CANNOT FILL OUT A FIELD INVESTIGATION REPORT AFTER EACH INVESTIGATION TO DOCUMENT YOUR EXPERIENCES, AND RESPONSIBLY REVIEW YOUR EVIDENCE IN A TIMELY MANNER, THEN PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. IF YOU CANNOT AGREE AT LEAST IN THEORY THAT MOST "ORBS" ARE DUST OR ENVIRONMENTAL, THEN REGRETABLY, WE CANNOT ACCEPT YOUR MEMBERSHIP. NOW HAVING SAID THAT: The ASUP is always trying to make things easier for its members and we have had several comments about the length of time it takes to become a field investigator and be allowed to join the teams in the field.
Within 24 hours the exam will be graded. If you score an 80% or better, you will be mailed your certificate as a basic field investigator. If you fail, you get to take the test once more. Sorry, only two tries. If you fail again, you will have to go through the regular training session. Our aim is to make this easier for the applicant and streamline the process so we can get you into the field sooner. Regards, Joy Maner Joy Maner Coordinator
